Our Services

Hi, I’m Lara

A nurturer and connector, art and nature-loving wife and mama.

I founded Nurturing Nature to support babies, children, and caregivers in navigating life’s challenges while drawing on their inner strengths and deepening the bonds that sustain them.

At Nurturing Nature, we care for babies, children and parents, empowering caregivers to trust their intuition, and help young children rediscover the joy and connection that should define childhood.

Our holistic approach weaves together trauma-informed restorative practices, mind-body awareness, and expressive arts to support you, your baby or child in meeting your unique goals.

We’re so glad you are here.

  • Children are our greatest treasure. They are our future.

    — Nelson Mandela

  • Art-making becomes a bridge between mother and child—a way of seeing, holding, and being with one another in the here and now.

    —Susan Hogan

  • Art tells the truth.

    — Edith Kramer

  • Relaxing into an immersive creative activity creates a dedicated space for the mother to be with herself and her growing baby, letting her safely step away from societal expectations and connect deeply to her intuitive knowing.

  • If you can practice bringing your attention back to being present with your baby, you exercise your adult mind to be more emotionally intelligent, better at self-regulating, more empathetic, and you strengthen those parts of your brain undergoing neuroplasticity as you become a parent.

    -Greer Kirshenbaum, PhD Nurture Neuroscience®

  • When the overwhelming emotions of new motherhood cannot be easily put into words, artistic creation offers a vital pathway for nervous system regulation, self-compassion, and deeper maternal-infant bonding.
