Both coaching and therapy offer meaningful support, but they serve different purposes and focus on different aspects of your growth and healing.
Therapy
Therapy is a clinical, healing-oriented process led by a licensed mental health professional. It often focuses on:
Processing past experiences and trauma
Understanding emotional patterns and mental health conditions
Working through grief, anxiety, depression, or trauma
Building insight, resilience, and tools for emotional regulation
Therapy is often the best fit if you're needing support with deep emotional pain, unresolved past experiences, or a mental health diagnosis.
In Young Child-Parent Therapy, we focus on the child and also the parent-child relationship as a powerful space for healing. Together, we support your child’s emotional development while also exploring your own experiences as a caregiver. This work is often play-based, reflective, and rooted in strengthening secure attachment and connection.
In Maternal and Infant Mental Health Support, we create a safe, non-judgmental space to explore the emotional complexities of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. Whether you're adjusting to your new identity as a parent, or experiencing anxiety or mood changes, this work supports you in feeling more grounded, connected, and understood. We help you understand the importance of secure attachment for your baby’s brain and we give you tools and support to do that.
Together, we gently unpack your experiences, strengthen your inner resources, and honor the full spectrum of feelings that can arise during this tender season of life.
Coaching
Coaching is a collaborative, forward-looking process that supports personal growth, clarity, and intentional action.
In Parenting Coaching offered with Young Child-Parent Therapy, we focus on:
Navigating life transitions during early parenthood
Identifying your goals, values, and strengths as a parent
Building confidence and emotional presence in your parenting journey
Exploring mindful tools to reduce stress and increase regulation and connection
Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Instead, it's a space for guided reflection, goal-setting, and skill-building to help you move forward with intention.

No, we do not accept insurance and do not directly bill insurance companies for services. However, we can provide you with a superbill at the end of each month that can be submitted to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.

No, we are not credentialed with Medicaid. Additionally, it is unlawful to accept out-of-pocket payment for services from a Medicaid recipient for services covered by Medicaid. However, there is one exception to this. House Bill 21-1018, enacted on May 7, 2021, allows adoptive parents, whose children are eligible for Medicaid because of an adoption assistance agreement, to pay out-of-pocket for medical services that would otherwise be reimbursable under Medicaid.
